Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 May 2026
LeadSquid is built so your data stays yours. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with your information.
The short version
- We do not collect, see, or store your data on any server. LeadSquid has no backend.
- Your contacts, notes, tags, tasks, and attachments live on your device and, if you use iCloud, sync through your own private iCloud account.
- There is no tracking, no analytics, no advertising, and no account to create.
What information LeadSquid stores
All of the following is created and stored by you, on your device:
- Contact details you import from your iPhone or enter manually (names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, organisation).
- Tags, notes, lifecycle and interaction history you add.
- Tasks and reminders you create.
- Photos and files you attach to contacts.
This data is stored locally using Apple's on-device database. If you are signed in to iCloud, it also syncs to your personal iCloud (CloudKit private database) so it is available on your other Apple devices. We have no access to your iCloud data.
How LeadSquid uses device permissions
- Contacts: When you import contacts, you choose exactly which ones to add. Only the contacts you select are copied into LeadSquid.
- Photos: When you attach a photo, you pick it from the system photo picker. LeadSquid only receives the photos you choose.
- Files: When you attach a file, you select it from the document picker. Only the files you choose are imported.
- Calendar: Used only to create a meeting event when you tap "Schedule meeting." LeadSquid does not read or store your existing calendar.
- Notifications: Used to remind you about tasks you create. These are scheduled locally on your device.
What we do not do
- We do not transmit your data to us or to any third party.
- We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We do not show advertising.
- We do not sell or share your information; we never have it in the first place.
Data retention and deletion
Because your data lives on your device and in your iCloud, you are in control of it. Deleting a contact, attachment, or other item removes it from LeadSquid. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device; data in iCloud follows Apple's standard iCloud behaviour and can be managed in your iCloud settings.
Children
LeadSquid is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here.
